Great place. Book early gets busy. Great wine list and bar. Menu based on local produce. Staff are attentive without being pushy and service was great. Good table layout so even when busy you feel quite private. Would go again for sure. The Venison and Skye Crab were delicious.

Outstanding cocktails in lovely setting. Great advice, very knowledgeble barman. The moctails were also amazing. I wish we had their snack food too but we were heading to dinner. Would love to comeback.

I have been here for the second time. It is simply a great place to enjoy good gin, cocktails, and whiskey. The cocktails are perfectly mixed, there is a great selection of gins, and the corresponding tonic waters are also available. The atmosphere and view of the river are very beautiful, simply a place to have a cocktail after dinner, or to have one before dinner, or to start the night out. Oh I almost forgot the serve nice beer too.

We stumbled upon Wee Bar on our first evening in Inverness, arriving without a reservation and not quite sure what to expect. While other places nearby turned us away, the team at Wee Bar warmly welcomed us, accommodating us between two reservations and offering a cozy, lounge-like space that immediately made us feel at ease. Only later did we learn they were short-staffed, with just one server managing the floor, assisted occasionally by staff from the restaurant downstairs. Despite that, the service was seamless. Drinks and appetizers arrived promptly and with a genuine smile. A special shoutout goes to their willingness to go the extra mile—when we requested a hot toddy for my wife, they happily made a custom one just for her. That may not sound like much, but in contrast, other pubs nearby simply declined. It’s this kind of “can-do” attitude that truly makes a place stand out. Our appetizers were just what we needed to kick off the evening: a delicious charcuterie plate with meats and cheeses, perfectly crispy onion rings, rich and flavorful garlic mushrooms, and a fresh bread basket. Everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor. I wish I remembered the name of the server who made the experience so memorable (we visited on April 15th around 6:30 PM). Their warmth, efficiency, and positive attitude made all the difference.

It truly is wee; you probably don't need a reservation, but I'd get one to avoid disappointment. Great whisky and cocktail selection, but the gin & tonic pairings are revelatory and I highly recommend them. Incredible service. My only complaint was a too-small serving of fries to soak up all the gin I wanted to put in my belly!

An exceptional bar, The Wee Bar was fantastic in drink, atmosphere, and people watching as folks walk by along River Ness. Our bartender was very knowledgeable and took the time to chat through whisky options with us before we made our choices. The cocktails are phenomenal - don't sleep on the Coffee Reserve which was so delicious I wish I had one right now. The bar is a bit easy to miss - the door is nestled between the awnings for the same steak shop. A neon arrow pointing to the door would do wonders. That said, if you do pass it I recommend turning around. You won't be disappointed!

If you like cocktails, you cannot miss the Wee Bar. Proper cocktail bar with delicious cocktails created by the bar tenders (you can also get the Classics of you want ). The place is warm and cosy with lovely views of the river.

We were greeted by Aloysius who served us with a smile, and presented us with the seafood platter and wine we had booked online. The food and wine were both great, and we had a lovely view overlooking the river. Would have liked to stay for longer but had to rush to catch our bus. We will be back though. Have to say that Aloysius is a huge credit to the business. Five stars to the Wee Bar.
